The best way to predict the future is to create it.

Surgeon, artist, anti-aging physician, inventor, entrepreneur — focused on creating a new model of medicine to restore healthspan and lifespan for the global aging population.

The diseases of aging are not inevitable. They are problems. And problems can be solved.

I believe there is no challenge humanity cannot overcome when we combine the right mindset, determined effort, and the courage to pursue bold new ideas.

I believe we are standing at a pivotal moment in history—one in which the diseases and disabilities of aging may no longer be accepted as inevitable, but approached as problems science can increasingly prevent, treat, and ultimately overcome.

I believe the research, technologies, and medical breakthroughs emerging today have the potential to dramatically expand our two most valuable assets: the time we have and the health we enjoy.

I believe we are entering a new age of human possibility—an era of greater health, vitality, longevity, and abundance that can benefit people throughout the world.

I believe we are living at one of the most exciting moments in human history: the beginning of a true scientific renaissance that may transform how we age, how long we remain healthy, and what is possible within a human lifetime.

Biography

Learn more about Dr. Giampapa

Co-founder of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and first President of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine, Dr. Vincent Giampapa is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, physician-scientist, inventor, and founding architect of the modern longevity movement.

In 2014 he was nominated for a Nobel Prize for research into cellular restoration technology, conducted with the research team at Rutgers University. He holds more than 24 U.S. patents across stem-cell delivery, cellular reprogramming, and medical bioengineering — including the sensate prosthetics work he consulted on for NASA’s space shuttle robotic arm — and built the BioMarker Matrix Profile, the first computer program to measure biological age.

He is Founding Director of the Regenerative Medicine Institute in Costa Rica, a Visiting Scholar at the Sinclair Lab, Paul F. Glenn Center for the Biology of Aging Research at Harvard Medical School, and has contributed more than 20 chapters to medical textbooks.

His mission is to bring humanity to escape velocity: the point where the rate of biological repair outpaces the rate of decline.
